Udyog ("we", "us", "our") operates the Udyog MW Alerts mobile app and the website at https://myudyog.co.in (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you provide
- Account details — your Indian mobile phone number (used both as your unique identifier and for one-time password (OTP) verification during login). We do not require or collect your email address, name, photograph, or any social-media profile.
- Notification preferences — the task types, filters, and ringtone you choose inside the app.
- Payment metadata — subscription plan, transaction reference ID, and status. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank credentials — these are handled directly by our payment providers.
- Support messages — content of any messages you send to us at info@myudyog.co.in.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device information — device model, operating system version, and push-notification token (used only to deliver alerts to your device). To enforce our single-device login policy, we also keep a lightweight identifier of the last device that logged in with your phone number so that older sessions can be revoked when you sign in on a new device.
- App usage — which screens you visit, which tasks you tap, and error logs, used to improve the app.
- OTP delivery logs — our SMS provider retains standard delivery-status logs (whether the OTP was sent or delivered). We keep the OTP itself for at most five minutes and only in encrypted form.
- Cookies (website only) — the website uses only essential cookies; no third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your phone-number-based account.
- To send you the one-time password (OTP) needed to log in.
- To enforce our single-device login policy (revoking older sessions when you log in on a new device).
- To deliver push notifications for the tasks and employers you follow.
- To process subscription payments through our payment providers.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To improve the accuracy of filters, the reliability of alerts, and the overall app experience.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
3. How we share your information
We share personal information only in these limited situations:
- Payment providers (PhonePe, Paytm, or similar) — to process subscription payments. They receive only the transaction details needed to complete the payment.
- SMS / OTP providers (such as MSG91 or equivalent DLT-registered senders in India) — to deliver the one-time password to your phone number.
- Push-notification providers (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging, Expo Push, or equivalent) — to deliver alerts to your device.
- Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting and database services.
- Legal requests — where we are legally required to disclose information to comply with valid legal process.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers. We do not share your information for third-party marketing.
4. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (see "Your rights" below), we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.
5. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted databases, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.

7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Third-party services
The app may include links to Microworkers.com or other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies before providing any information to them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
